Read a study in context
- Who was included—and who was excluded? Check the diagnosis, age, medical history, and setting.
- Was the study randomized and controlled, observational, a case report, or a preprint?
- What changed, for how long, and compared with what? Separate symptom scores from everyday functioning.
- Were harms, dropouts, blinding problems, and conflicts of interest reported?
- What established care and non-drug support should remain part of the conversation?
